The Design
A note from our founder on the design:
As a child, exploring my Great Aunt's jewelry box was a transformative experience. Each piece told its own story - Art Deco treasures mixed with striking antique pieces and collected trinkets. The excitement of discovering each unique item, each one more distinctive than the last, left an indelible mark. That sense of wonder, of wanting to own and treasure each surprising find, has deeply influenced how I approach my collections.
When curating LÖF pieces from my ever-growing collection of designs in my sketchbook, I aim to recreate that jewelry box discovery moment. While there are distinct design signatures and cohesive elements throughout the collection, each piece stands boldly on its own. Our cocktail rings, in particular, are designed to feel like found treasures - architectural statements that could be contemporary or passed down through generations. I want clients to come to LÖF knowing they'll discover something unexpected, something that captivates them instantly, just as I did as a child lifting another remarkable piece from my great aunt's collection.
Each design carries our unmistakable LÖF structural elements, but maintains its individual character. These aren't pieces that blur together in a jewelry box - they're bold statements that demand attention and spark joy every time they're rediscovered. When you open your jewelry box, that LÖF piece should be the one that makes you smile, the one that stands apart, the one you can't wait to wear.
