Volume I: Passages

Passages began with an appreciation for the architecture of everyday life. The narrow corridors of light between buildings, shadows cast by fire escapes, the rhythm of tiled floors and the unexpected shapes that emerge where structures meet.

Inspired by the streets I had walked, I began translating these details into jewellery. Stairways became stepped settings, architectural lines became bands of gold, and the spaces between buildings found their way into the designs.

Two distinct stories emerged. The Tallulah, with its ascending rows of baguette diamonds, echoes the geometry of the city skyline, while the Maze frames a single marquise diamond within a labyrinth of gold. Both explore the same forms across different scales, from delicate everyday pieces to more elaborate designs.

Passages is ultimately about the places we move through, the details we notice and the impressions they leave behind.
